So after 8 years of dating, we finally made it official and got engaged on an icy cold but beautiful day along the side of a canal in Amsterdam. Followed by a surprise photo shoot with an Australian photographer – the world is very small. We got engaged next to a beautiful canal that had painted LOVE ME on the side of a wall. Very fitting!
Sitting in the middle of lock down at the moment, January 2020 feels like a million years ago – being in Amsterdam was such a treat and then we arrived back in SA to Eskom load shedding and then the shock of the Corona Virus and the wedding plans ground to a holt and now its off the radar completely.
So let’s just look at our engagement photos for now and when the world goes back to normal, we can start the planning again!
